Well work in the studio is moving along and today I’m taking a break to gather some thoughts. I was thinking about how work grows and changes. I once thought I needed to sit and think of a direction something to say. But I find just steady making seem to work for me. I have seen my work change over the years but it has been slowly. From the way I form this part of a ear or try pushing my tool a different direction to see what happens. Somehow doing more work makes me feel it’s ok to try something new and experiment. And because each piece is not to precious I can play with it. And for me that is where the growth happens but ever so slowly. And I’m ok with that.
